Things I only Buy at the Thrift Store

About 90% of my wardrobe comes from the thrift store. I kind of mix and match with items from the mall but most things I don’t even bother buying from the mall.

5 Items I exclusively purchase from the thrift store are:

Turtlenecks

I love to have a variety of colors and sleeve lengths so I opt to purchase them from the thrift store for usually around a dollar or two!

Skirts

I love skirts! I like to have skirts that are more of a midi length. For a while they were trending and were everywhere. Now, it seems like they’re a little harder to find. I love the vintage styles and patterns too!

Silk Scarves

I use scarves for my hair, accessories for my purse and of course, as an accessory to my outfits. They’re are always so many to choose from!

Sweaters

The thrift store has SO many sweaters. I live in California so sometimes the weather isn’t quite “coat weather” so a cute sweater is usually an appropriate option. I like that I can feel the difference in the vintage quality and craftsmanship of the sweaters.

Coats

Now, when it does get cold, I love a good coat! I prefer feminine and classic styles! I have a variety of colors and always feel like I'm doing something extremely important when I put on my “good coat”. Although a nice coat is good investment, why pay so much for a coat when you don’t have to?

Blazers

Because....Clueless and Hilary banks. Enough said.
