The Best Thing You can Be is YOU!

I was thinking the other day about how I spent so many years trying to figure out where I "fit'. I wanted so badly to be able to categorize myself. But I realized that category I was searching for did not exist. To lock myself in a box left no room for me to grow, change or evolve. It left me really confused and frustrated for a long time. To be honest, I really didn't start to fully understand what I was doing with myself until a couple of years ago. Thats when it hit me! I am who a I am!  I fooled around and stopped caring what people thought of me! The most liberating feeling...ever! Unfortunately, we care so much about what others think of us or how we'll be perceived if we stand firmly on who we are and what we have found to be true in our lives. To be blunt, what other people think DOES NOT MATTER! I wake up , I pray and ask God to order my steps. I ask him to continually direct my path and help me to make good choices. So, if my steps are ordered by GOD, what does it matter what anyone else thinks? His will prevails anyway! 

We are all unique and there is so much freedom in walking in your own path that God has set out before you. There are no limits to the doors he'll open and the room that he will make for you if you just allow him to guide you. So be you! Don't let anyone steal your joy! There is no other person on the planet like YOU! I promise! It gets hard sometimes because we are human and we want to be accepted and feel apart. Here's a secret. In the grand scheme of things, it all works out better when you are just yourself! "The even bigger secret?", you ask- Well, thats easy! You Win!  Its ok to stand out! Just remember, You are valuable! You are Unique! You are inspiring! You are strong! You are resilient! You are capable! You are YOU!

This is Something I made up and live by, "If I'm busy being me, and you're busy being me...who's going to be you?" and vice versa! We need everybody!

So get out there with your unique self and win!
