Have You Been Thrifting Lately?

Ok so let’s talk about how Thrifting has changed in the last couple of years. I have been an avid Thrifter for about 12-13 years. Thrifting was a way to get cheap clothes and not be bothered by swarms of people. Lately I’ve noticed some things and I don’t like them!

1. Pricing changes! They have done up (relatively speaking, of course) it’s still much cheaper than most. The popularity has created a fad….so we know what happens there.
   

2. They’re crowded.
   I don’t know if it’s because people are not at work or what but there are so many people all the time!
   

3. No more sale days. I used to go on “Wacky Wednesday” and get everything half off. Sadly, Wacky Wednesday is no more.
   

4. General selection. I guess it seems like there’s just no as much to choose from these days.
   

   I’ve been in a mission to get rid of things o don’t wear or use. I want to get into the habit of not keeping things around that serve no purpose. So in a way, I’m glad there’s not much to buy because I don’t need it anyway!
