I Made it to ThriftCon…My Thoughts….

I finally made it to Thriftcon! I have been trying to make it for a while!
So, here are my thoughts on my experience. It was super easy to get tickets and get through the entrance line. They just required that we had a vaccination card or negative Covid Test. We were able to find parking right in the front so that was great! That knocked off $20! Once inside, it was a pretty straight forward process. There was an overwhelming amount of vintage street wear vendors. If there were 50 vendors, at least 30 were streetwear. As a person who likes appreciates all kinds of vintage clothing, I would have liked to see more vintage dresses and attire for dressy occasions. I absolutely love my sneakers but give me a fitted little vintage dress and pillbox hat and we’re In Business.
I would have also like to see a Main Stage with entertainment or something to engage people. There wasn’t much direction about where to go or who the vendors were. I did enjoy myself and with a few little quick fixes and some development I think Thriftcon will continue to improve every year. I’m just glad I finally made!
